Wisconsin in November

We were fortunate to FINALLY go back home to Wisconsin in November.  We haven't been back for four years!  Bill's parents have been great in visiting us, and everyone came out for our wedding, so we were long overdue for a good long visit.  And that's just what we got, 10 whole days!!

We were off and running from the start! We spent two nights "up North" at Bill's parents cabin in the boonies.  It was WONDERFUL! Quaint and rustic, it reminded me much of an old house we grew up going to on the coast.  Only here there was no running water and you had to use the outhouse. That's fun in the middle of the night when it's below freezing. Ooooooeeee!

Mary checking out the creek.

Bill getting ready for some shooting, he takes it very seriously! Note the small gun on his belt.

We got back in time to enjoy some indoor soccer played by our nephew Denver (black shirt).

Bill and I enjoyed a few walks around his old neighborhood, his little subdivision is right in the middle of the country. Beautiful!

Robby, Angie, Bill, Dad (Ed), and Mom (Mary)

(missing Peggy and Sara)

We enjoyed a wonderful pre-Thanksgiving feast with the family.  Bill's siblings Rob and Angie brought their families and we had a grand 'ol time.

The ladies proceeded to surprise me with a little baby shower, it was so thoughtful! Mary had Peggy and Sara send in gifts, and we all played a few games (the kids really got into it), it was a lot of fun.

We had quite a few relaxing days around the house, Bill took me to some old job sites and I got to meet some people from his past, it was really fun for him to go down memory lane.

I enjoyed a little time with my neice Adria, she let me take some pictures out by their neat barn.

Our last day we woke up to snow!

We really had a wonderful time, thank you Schueler family for the great time! We'll be glad to be back!

Florida in September

In September Bill had a nursing conference in Tampa Florida. After a few very educational days he drove down to Orlando, picked me up at the airport and we spent five relaxing days enjoying the warmth and wonders!

We've been to Orlando quite a few times, Bill's best friend Tim and wife Becky live there, so we didn't feel like we had to see much of Disney this time.  Plus being in my 'condition' I wouldn't be able to go on any rides and I thought that would just be torture!

We went at the perfect time, the weather was great AND the tourists were gone! We had this place to ourselves.

Tim and Becky were great hosts, they took us out to an AMAZING dinner at Seasons 52 in celebration of Bills birthday and the baby. THANK YOU!!

I look pregnant with twins, but really I just enjoyed a plethora of delicious food that included goat cheese ravioli-aMAzing!

TYPHOON LAGOON!
Doesn't Bill look like he's having the time of his life??

This picture just makes me laugh, breakfast with the Eck's at First Watch. Becky is beautiful as usual!

17 weeks prego in the sun! Getting some Vitamin D for the babe.

We spent most of our time playing mini golf, 3 nice long games. We both won one and tied one.

Look how close I was to going OUT!

We had a fantastic time, it was much needed relaxation, a wonderful time with long distance friends, and some good pre-babe bonding!

We can't seem to get back soon enough, thank you Tim and Becky.

Baby Schueler

It's been quite a long time since I posted anything, and I thought the perfect way to jump back in was with the biggest news in our lives right now.   I found out July 4th that I am pregnant! Due March 4th, 2012, just two days before our third anniversary. What a gift!

The longest 30 seconds of my life....and then the weirdest feeling when I saw those words.

27 weeks TODAY

The process of growing a belly seemed painfully slow, I felt like it would be more real if I could see it.  Well, now I can see it! :)

I feel very fortunate for my 'easy' pregnancy thus far.  Food only tasted bland in the first trimester,  a slight increase in fatigue, minor lower back/sciatic pain, and very mild heartburn. I'm thinking I got off easy!!! I LOVE being pregnant. Absolutely love it.  The best part is feeling him/her move, and watching my belly bounce.

My parents are pretty excited, it is their first grandchild! Bill's parents also share in the excitement, seeing as this makes an even dozen for them. Plus it's their baby having a baby, that's a pretty big milestone!

I plan on working until the end of February, and then saying goodbye to my great co-workers and patients, and saying hello to being a stay-at-home mother. It'll be more work than I've ever known!! But I'm told it'll be worth it :)

We can't wait to meet this lil' one!
